
Where did you grow up?
I was born in San Antonio, TX, but grew up in Omaha.
Can you tell us a little about your family?
My wife Andrea is also a dentist and we have a daughter named Eleanor. We have two dogs Easton and Max that are very active and keep us busy!
Who is someone you admire, and why?
I admire my parents. They have always encouraged my siblings and me to pursue our passions. I wouldn’t be a dentist today without all of the love and support they provided me along the way.
What do you love doing in your free time?
Playing golf, trying out new restaurants, and being outside.
What are you most passionate about in your dental career?
I’m passionate about providing excellent care and experiences to my patients. Dentistry is constantly evolving with new technology and techniques, and I’m always trying to learn ways I can improve that will benefit my patient’s oral health.
What are you most passionate about outside of work?
Spending time with my family, rooting on the TCU Horned Frogs and Creighton Bluejays.
Are there any causes or charities that are especially meaningful to you? Why?
I love Best Buddies International, a charity devoted to providing services and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I got involved with this charity during college, and they truly do amazing work for a population in need.
What’s your go-to breakfast?
Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel!
As a kid, what did you dream of becoming?
I was fascinated by space as a child and really wanted to become an astronaut. I even had a small telescope and a space themed bedroom!
What inspired your path into dentistry?
I first became interested in dentistry as a teenager after spending countless days with my orthodontist and the oral surgeon. Once I got to college, I began shadowing a few dentists and enjoyed the different procedures dentists are able to perform and the personal relationships they could build with their patients.
How do you hope patients and colleagues remember you?
I hope patients remember me as someone who cared for them with kindness and made their visits comfortable. I hope colleagues see me as a supportive teammate with integrity and tons of positivity.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Coffee!
Do you have a favorite movie you could watch over and over?
I almost always watch The Shawshank Redemption when it’s on TV.
Who’s the funniest person you know?
My wife of course!
